ITP Aero has reported revenues of 1.047 billion euros in 2022, representing a 14% increase compared to 2021, with an operating result (Ebit) of 104 million euros compared to 40 million in the previous year.

In a statement, ITP Aero has stated that, as an "independent" company, with Bain Capital as majority shareholder, 2022 has been a "positive" year for the company, with significantly better financial results than in 2021.

The company has explained that the main reasons behind the company's "solid" financial results include the recovery of commercial aviation, ITP Aero's business mix, and the strong performance of the defense business, despite several adverse macroeconomic factors.

In this context, ITP Aero's revenues, which have not disclosed its net profit achieved in 2022, and which in 2021 was 67 million, increased to 1.047 billion, 14% more. The company's workforce, at the end of 2022, was 4,500 employees, 8% more than in 2021.

The company has highlighted that during 2022, it achieved a series of "important milestones", including "significant progress" in the UltraFan demonstrator of Rolls-Royce, the signing of the contract for phase 1B of FCAS, and participation in "key" European R&D projects as part of Clean Aviation and the EDFs (European Defence Funds), including the use of SAF and hydrogen towards a more sustainable aviation.
